Hi all,

Just a quick news update this month. It's been a busy one! I hope everyone had a good Easter. Ours was... not so good. We attempted camping with the family in the Otways National Park. Unfortunately due to drunken yobbo trailbike riders who lobbed into the campsite next to us after we'd set up, we had to leave the next day. No one wants to listen to trailbikes riding past your tent at the campsite at 1am in the morning. Of course, the 20 something group of Australian Idol wannabes at the other end of the site with their Karaoke machine singing until 3.30am was no help either. Sigh... If only Duncan had come along. He'd have set fire to their hair after 10pm. (He really is a grumpy dragon.) Luckily we found some room at Colac caravan park, and had a lot nicer 2 days after that.

So with camping trips, kinder holidays, museum visits etc, it's been slow moving on the work front. HOWEVER. I have finished off the Indian Ornament quilt stitching, and Margaret-the-Magnificent has finished assembly, and is on to the quilting. I expect she'll finish it before the new year! :-)

I'm also busy getting ready several magazine projects. You can sneak a peek at the fish for Homespun Magazine. The project is out in December, but if you like the look of it, start hoarding some Moda Odyssea Calypso fabric right now. :-)

Duncan has finished off the Counting Sheep quilt, and now I have to get the pattern ready. It will feature rockin' sheep with boy friendly country colours.

Lastly, but not leastly - there's a new freebie. I am finishing off the quilting on my little russian icon cross, and I thought Easter time was a great time to release something for people like me who get irritated by bunny rabbits. (Why bother with the eggs, says Duncan, the bunnies are yummy enough.) See the 'stuff' section to download an A3 PDF file.

cheers,

Natashia and Duncan
