February
Yup, it's February. The year is already galavanting along at a frenetic frenzy.
I could have entitled this news section as 'Frenetic February' as all good Missionary Kids know newsletter titles MUST use alliteration! But I have resisted the evil temptation.
The oldest darling has started 4 year old kinder and swimming lessons this week ('I get to go EVERY WEEK Mummy!'), and the youngest is trying to work out what to do with himself in the solo hours. His solution has been drag Mummy everywhere with him of course. Dancing together to the wiggles CD manages to combine his need for fun and my need for exercise! Duncan can only stand it for so long before he flaps off in disgust.
The mystery that I want explained is why do 4 year olds take half an hour to eat their breakfast? And why do they think that holding their T-shirt and throwing it up in the air half a dozen times constitutes 'getting dressed'????
On the work front, the 'Work like an Egyptian' pattern is going through it's final proof check and testing, as well as the 'Baby Peacock' quilt. You'll find more info on both in the coming soon section. The peacock quilt has been designated quilt of choice by the oldest ('I want to keep that birdie quilt for ever and ever until I'm an adult') and he is overseeing the cutting of pieces out with impatience.
Must off and do the food shopping!
cheers,
Natashia
