We've been busy creating fun and original quilt patterns to share with you. This site also shows you a little bit about what you can expect to receive when you purchase a Smee Designs quilt pattern, and a little about us.

There's a new bubs on the way! Baby Curtin number 2 is due in May, and hopefully all will go smoothly this time. Benjamin is looking forward to cuddling 'baby brother', so cross fingers the ultra sound doctor got the gender correct! As a result, things have slowed a little in the stitching department as the belly gets more rotund.
Duncan is not impressed. He's got lots of design ideas, and I'm holding him back! So he's convinced me to put out a few more designs with colour diagrams, for those who are as impatient as he is. :-) Take a look at the 'Coming Soon' section for work that's in progress, or ready to be released.
There's also two projects in my two favourite magazines out in the middle of the year. Australian Patchwork and Quilting, and Quilter's Companion have both commissioned pieces, keep a look out for those.

Every quilt pattern released by Smee is tested before release; if Duncan can sew them, so can everyone else. Of course, these patterns are already copyright, and Duncan will bite anyone whom he finds is copying things illegally. He can be pretty grumpy.
